The Thermapen IR is two instruments in one compact unit, combining the advanced technology of the RayTemp 2+ infrared thermometer and the Thermapen 4 (SuperFast) digital probe thermometer. Simply aim the infrared thermometer at your target and press the scan button to measure surface temperatures, or fold out the probe to immerse in liquids or pierce semi-solids. The probe's reduced tip and small mass make it fast enough to check even thin cuts of meat as you cook them to perfection. The Thermapen IR's great in any kitchen as its case is manufactured with Biomaster (antimicrobial) silver. This permanently and safely reduces the risk of bacterial growth on the instrument surfaces. Technically advanced too, the 360 auto-rotating display means you'll never need to have your head in a hot oven, trying to read the temperature upside down and the IR minimum and maximum temperatures can be recalled from its built-in memory. |
