The 801590 is designed specifically for measuring forehead temperatures and accurately displaying these as 'Oral Equivalents'. It boasts a fast 1 second response and in addition to the clearly displayed temperature, beeps when it has a stable measurement, beeps twice when the temperature is 'safe' and 3 times if it's above 37.5°.
The audible feedback allows for faster, less intrusive measure and wait times and with 5000 hours of operation from 2 AAA batteries (included), it's the perfect instrument for visitor management and health applications alike.

Hints for Best Results
Hold the instrument within 4cm of the patient's forehead.
Be aware that exercising and/or general exertion can artificially raise your temperature. If a high temperature is detected, allow the patient to rest for 5 minutes before re-testing.
Ensure hair is clear of the forehead and avoid scars when measuring.
